Shipping Policy
Order Processing
Prescription products: Legally, CBD is a prescription-only product in Australia. All orders for CBD require a valid veterinarian’s prescription. Your vet can upload this in the Kindred Vet Hub.
Non-prescription (Shop) items, such as pet treats and supplements, do not require a prescription and orders will be processed immediately.
Orders for both prescription and Shop products are usually processed within 1—2 business days upon receipt of payment.
Shipping Costs
Standard shipping fee (within Australia): AU$9.99
Express shipping fee (within Australia): AU$14.99
Free standard shipping on orders over AU$60
Free standard shipping also applies for customers with a monthly subscription to Kindred pet supplements.
Free express shipping applies to all prescription orders.
Delivery Timeframes
Standard shipping: 3—7 business days
Express shipping: 1—3 business days
Delivery times may vary based on your location, holidays, and courier services. Deliveries to rural areas may take longer. We deliver Australia-wide; however, we do not ship internationally at this time.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your delivery.
Important Notes
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes for prescription products due to regulatory requirements. Please provide a residential or business address.
Prescription products will be subject to additional verification steps, i.e., a signature will be required upon delivery.
Returns Policy
We want you and your pet to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Kindred. If you are not, please review our returns policy below.
Eligibility for Returns
Non-prescription items: Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. Non-prescription items may be returned for Shop credit or refund, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
Prescription products: Due to Australian health regulations, prescription CBD products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or damaged during transit.
Damaged or Faulty Items
Our CBD oils are prepared and packaged with care by the pharmacy team. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us at kindredspirits@kindredcbd.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, photos of the damaged item, and a brief description. After our assessment, we will either replace the item or issue a refund where appropriate.
Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on products.
Return Shipping
For eligible returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods such as pet food (treats), pet supplements, and veterinary medicines.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once the returned item has been inspected and approved. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Returns Processing
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not. If approved, you will be offered a refund, exchange or Shop credit.
Please remember it can take some time (usually up to 10 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and for it to appear in your account.
